Successfully launched in South Korea and Asia, Seoul-based SUN AT FOODS now plans to bring their handcrafted artisanal cuisines to the U.S and the Americas.<\/p>\n<p>One of my longtime personal favorites, which I have talked about often, is <em>Mad for Garlic<\/em> that first opened in 2001. They are known for their garlic-specialized Italian cuisine served in rather unique restaurant settings.<\/p>\n<p>I feel their secrets are<em> Mad for Garlic<\/em><em>\u2019s<\/em> method of removing the garlic\u2019s pungent smell and unique way of cooking Italian cuisine with a Korean twist. In Korea and Asia they have won the hearts of both garlic and non-garlic lovers.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.songdoibdcitytalk.com\/blog\/%20\/korean-global-dining-leader-looks-americas\/.\/mad-for-garlic-decor\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1236\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1236\" src=\"http:\/\/www.songdoibdcitytalk.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Mad-for-Garlic-Decor-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"mad for garlic America\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.songdoibdcitytalk.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Mad-for-Garlic-Decor-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.songdoibdcitytalk.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Mad-for-Garlic-Decor-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.songdoibdcitytalk.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Mad-for-Garlic-Decor-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Building on the success of <em>Mad for Garlic<\/em> are two new concepts <em>Modern<\/em> <em>Nulung<\/em> and <em>Bistro Seoul<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by 1930s Shanghai Renaissance era, <em>Modern Nulang<\/em> is the combination words of \u2018Modern\u2019 and \u2018Nulang\u2019 \u2013the latter meaning \u2018woman\u2019 in Chinese. They have reinterpreted the era\u2019s \u2018modern women\u2019 in their dishes, which guests describe as \u2018Sophisticated\u2019 and \u2018Romantic\u2019 Chinese Cuisine. Here they offer authentic Korean cuisine made with fresh ingredients and seasoning prepared in a traditional but modern interpretation.
