For example, Koreans make New Year\u2019s resolutions where they promise to exercise regularly, eat fewer sweet things\u2014such as chocolates and candy\u2014or endeavor to study harder.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s appropriate to wish your Korean colleagues a seasonal greeting this week prior to the holiday, just as you will wish your non-Korean friends \u201cHappy New Year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The good news is \u2026<\/p>\n<p>The Korean New Year greeting is \u201c<em>Sae hae bok mani ba deu say yo.<\/em>\u201d \u00a0It is a great phrase to learn because it will also be used again at the lunar New Years celebration in late January.<\/p>\n<p>Again, pronounced: <strong>sae hae bok\u2014mahne\u2014bah deu say yo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Oh, one more thing.
